One of the wonderful things that I get to experience as a photographer is sharing life’s greatest moments.

Drew Keilen and his now fiancee Gina flew over from Arizona Friday afternoon. Drew had contacted the studio earlier that week to arrange a surprise for Gina she will never forget. He had received special permission to “sneak” into the Fields, where I was just photographing close-ups of flowers… until Drew dropped to his knee and we caught the action as it happened. Does it look like Gina said yes?

Today, we opened up our booth at the Flower Fields in anticipation of the official March 1 opening. Though the flowers won’t be ready for our portrait sessions that early, we will be ready to start by mid March.
