Presented by Bill Sorenson
and Limited to Only 14 Studio Owners
October 25 & 26, 2009
Bill Sorenson is arguably the most successful studio photographer in the country, with annual sales exceeding $2,400,000, and an extraordinarily high net profit. Mr. Sorenson will spend two days discussing his
Five Keys to Wealth
- Continuous marketing on a daily basis
- Strategies to maximize sales
- Push your prices to the top of your category
- Motivate and structure to maintain momentum
- Maximize profit in your business
Bill will work with attendees one on one to inspire you and take on your toughest problems, including revisions of your pricing structure.
David Hilton will work with the rest of the group to help you implement what you have learned from Bill. He recently sold his three Boston area studios to devote his full time efforts to coaching photographers and other business professionals. David his been our business coach for many years, and we can say from personal experience that he is the perfect follow up for Bill.
To our colleagues…
We are Bill & Mary Keane, owners of Keane Studios in San Diego. We have have attended and hosted several of these events over the past ten years and know that it could well change your professional lives – it has ours. I learned of Bill in an indirect way. Our studio manager Cherise has been with the studio for twenty years, and prior to moving to San Diego, she had worked for Bill in high school. I learned of his way of doing things by listening to and observing Cherise in action.
Then several years ago, I had the chance to sit in on the first private seminar Bill had given. Two others in attendance were Rachel Marten and Rod Evans, both of whom have not only accelerated their already successful businesses, but are now national speakers in their own right. Hearing Bill talk about marketing is tantamount to sitting in the eye of a hurricane – so much information is swirling about!
As you can see at right, we are one of many successful studio owners who have used Mr. Sorenson’s teachings to grow their business AND generate more profit in the process. For us personally, Bill’s most recent advice has propelled us very close to that elusive seven figure sales goal, with several weeks to go.
Mr. Sorenson’s studio schedule limits the number of seminars he can offer, so this is truly a rare opportunity. Bill often limits his seminars to once every two or three years, but last year’s program was sold out so quickly, he agreed to hold another session. Once those who were too late to register hear of this chance, there will be very few seats left. Be sure to register right away!
Learn from Those Who Are Doing What You Want to Do!
There are many reasons to invest in Mr. Sorenson’s teaching, but one stands out above all others – learn from the best! And that’s what Bill is – the best at what he does. Whether photographing Walter Cronkite for his signature portrait, a senior portrait that contributes to his $800,ooo in senior sales in only six weeks every year, or bringing out the expression of a toddler, Bill’s classic style keeps him in constant demand.
There was a poster I once saw that encapsulates my marketing philosophy… two buzzards are sitting on a dead branch when one turns to the other and says “Patience, hell… let’s go out and kill something!” Though Bill’s portraits attract the discerning, it’s his sales and marketing that has propelled his sales to well over $2 million in sales at a net profit of almost 50%!
I have been in this business for 40 years. I remember calling a Master Photographer who lived near my college, asking his advice. His words struck me as odd – “It’s a great business, you’ll have fun and meet some nice people, but you’ll never get rich!” Even at age 20, I thought that was an odd recommendation for a profession. I’ve had the good fortune to work personally with some phenomenal photographers – Monte Zucker, Phillip Charis and Dean Collins among others.
Even with the wonderful knowledge of the craft I learned from those great Masters, I never found what I’d been aching for – someone who could lead the way. As my friend David Hilton says,
“Bill Sorenson is the guy whose red lights you can follow in the fog!”
The Sorenson Experience is NOT for everyone!
- If it’s posing and lighting that you want, save your money. I don’t even know if he brings a camera to these events.
- If you want to hear what a great artist he is, and what wonderful tings he has done, stay home. If you expect to hear another convention level program, or just have fun with your friends, go to a convention. It will be less expensive, and your head won’t explode from all the information.
- If you want the information that no other speaker is offering, because they basically mimic what they heard from other PPA trained photographers, then this seminar is for you.
- If you want more profit to take home and spend on your family, save for retirement, or travel many times a year like Mary and I enjoy doing, this seminar will be a godsend!
- If you’re bold enough to stand out from the crowd, to be respected as a business leader, to earn what your clients are earning, you’ll want to drop everything to register for this event.
- If there’s a nagging thought in your head that the quality of the work you produce should be far better compensated, book your flight.
Before I tell you the price, remember there is no risk. Bill Sorenson has no interest in getting wealthy at your expense. He’s already doing just fine, thank you. He’s taking time from his very busy schedule to impart his knowledge, and that does not and should not come at a bargain price.
Bill only wants those attending who want to be there, and will gain from the experience. If you don’t think it’s for you, he will refund your money in full at the end of the first day, and we’ll make immediate arrangements for you to get to the airport at our expense!
How Much Will It Cost Me to Move from Good to Great?
My attorney – whose wedding I photographed 30 years ago – charges $375 an hour, and I know I’m getting my money’s worth every time he speaks. To learn from the very best there is won’t even cost you that much! In fact, you’ll pay less than half that for three days that should change your life if you’re ready.
The first person to attend from a studio costs $1995. Do you have a partner, spouse or key employees? Bring them along so you don’t have to explain why you come home bursting with enthusiasm!
Why do I think it is such a bargain?
- Our friend Trenton Bahr, who hosted Bill’s last appearance at his Sacramento studio, paid many times that amount to have Bill come to his studio for a one on one training.
- Another attendee at Trenton’s studio had just moved to a new city, had no contacts, and just one good idea. Bill massaged that idea with him, David coached him, and now he will be doing well over $500,000 this year because of that one idea.
- I’ll share some very personal, very real numbers. I just consulted our P&L year to date compared to last year. Our sales are up over $200,000, for a 29% increase. But more importantly, our NET PROFIT SKYROCKETED by 45%! There is one primary reason for that growth – the seemingly small tweaks that Bill guided us to make to our already successful business.

P.S. I know who you are! You’re the cynic! You already know that Bill doesn’t need the money, so you probably think your hosts have a stake in this. We do – we’ll be there learning, just like you. You’re right – I’m selfish! Every time I have a chance to host an event like this, I take away the most valuable education there can be – a personal relationship gained from knowing a few other motivated people, and learning from the best.
P.P.S. If you want more than just to grow your studio gross sales, if you believe that you can live more than just a comfortable life in photography, if you understand that you can be one of the smart few who become wealthy in photography, your dreams will come true at this three day, almost private event. Remember, Bill’s $2.4 million dollar sales volume is only exceeded by his almost 50% net.
